Congress hits BJP for Hegde's Rs 40000 crore comment, demands PM responses
NEW DELHI: Congress demanded a response from the Prime Minister on Monday Narendra Modi on the claim of BJP MP who was appointed prime minister last month despite the lack of majority to protect the 40 billion rupees of the central funds under the control of the CM from being misused.
A union minister has exposed the Modi government. BJP's anti-Maharashtra face has been exposed. Has the federal structure been crushed? Were the 40,000 million rupees for the welfare of the public and farmers removed through a conspiracy? Prime Minister's response! The spokesman for the Congress tweeted.
Fadnavis has rejected Hegde's comments as false.
He is absolutely wrong and I refute it completely. A central government company is implementing the bullet train project, where the role of the Maharashtra government is limited to land acquisition only. Neither the Center requested funds nor the Maharashtra government sent it back, Fadnavis told reporters in Nagpur.
