An afternoon dedicated to Begum Akhtar

When the musical styles Banarasi and Awadhi met in the rhythm of the table, the sarangi and the harmony on the stage, the entire audience resounded with applause. Folk singer Malini Awasthi Hypnotized music lovers with their songs at an event held at the Sant Gadge Auditorium in Sangeet Natak Akademi. The event was hosted by the Cultural Department, Uttar Pradesh titled ‘Yaadein’. Malini Awasthi started the evening with by singing Humse Nazariya Kaahe Fere Baalam and continued with Kuchh Toh Duniya Ki Inayat Ne Dil Tod Diya and many more. Minister of State for Culture Dr Neelkanth Tiwari and Principal Secretary of Culture and Tourism Department, Jitendra Kumar They were present as the main guests of the program.
