Treason with Maharashtra: Sanjay Raut on the claim of Ananth Kumar Hegde
MUMBAI: After the BJP legislator, Ananth Kumar Hegde, said he was appointed prime minister despite not having a majority to prevent misuse of central funds worth Rs 40,000 million. Shiv Sena The leader said that this is treason with Maharashtra.
The deputy of BJP, Ananth Kumar Hegde, says that Devendra Fadanvis as CM for 80 hours, moved the Rs 40000 cr from Maharashtra to the center. This is a betrayal with Maharashtra, Raut tweeted.
Hegde had claimed that Fadnavis was made Maharashtra chief minister to prevent central funds worth Rs 40,000 crore, from being misused by the Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance of Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress.
You all know that our man in Maharashtra became prime minister for 80 hours. Then Fadnavis resigned. Why did you do this drama? Didn't we know that we don't have a majority and yet he became prime minister? This is the question everyone asks, Hegde said in Uttar Kannada on Sunday.
The parliamentarian said that the BJP organized a drama to transfer the money to the central government.
A chief minister has access to around Rs 40,000 crore from the Center. He knew if Congress-NCP- Shiv Sena government comes to power it would be misuse funds meant for development. So, it was decided that there should be a drama. Fadnavis became chief minister and in 15 hours he moved Rs 40,000 crore back to Center, Hegde added.
Fadnavis took an oath as Prime Minister of Maharashtra on November 23, while Ajit Pawar of NCP took an oath as his deputy. However, on November 26, Fadnavis announced his resignation after the Supreme Court ordered a floor test at the state assembly.
On November 28, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray was sworn in as the state's chief minister.
