Rajasthan surprise: a six-year-old girl kidnapped, raped and murdered in Tonk
JAIPUR: A six-year-old boy was kidnapped and allegedly raped and killed in the Aligarh police station area of the district. The girl had disappeared on Saturday afternoon and her body was found on Sunday morning behind some bushes. Police officers are looking for defendants who have not been identified.
The Class I student was last seen on Saturday afternoon around 3 p.m., leaving her school where she had gone to attend a sport
event. When he did not get home, the family began a frantic search for the missing child, but they did not find it anywhere.
Investigating officer Jaggu Ram told TOI: “The girl was last seen when she left school. Her body was found Sunday morning behind thick bushes near a field by locals looking for her. She has been strangled with her own school belt that was found in her throat. The post mortem report is expected.
The police alleged that the evidence suggested that she was also raped before the murder, although it is still unclear whether the assault was carried out by one or more people.
Probable sexual assault on a child before murder
“Although the medical report will give more details, it seems that the accused had sexually assaulted the girl before killing her. We still don't know who or how many people committed the crime, since no one saw the girl after she left school, the police officer added.
The girl's body was handed over to the family after the autopsy and she has been cremated. A case has been registered under the Pocso Law and the IPC sections.
The brutality of the heinous crime has not only shaken the villagers but also the police. “In my decades of career, I had never seen such a crime and seeing the girl lying in the bushes was traumatic. Although I am a police officer, I will take some time to recover, ”said the investigating officer.
