Your local artists about DJs at weddings this shaadi season
This wedding season More and more people want to have local artists instead of artists from other cities or DJs who play premixed remixes. Gujarati live music at weddings has a unique charm. Jaydeep Mehta, founder of an event management company, explains: “Previous people would prefer to call radio jockeys to organize weddings because they were popular. Now, since the Gujarati film industry has had a significant influence on the audience here, people want to see local artists as actors Malhar Thakar and singer Arvind Vegda among others.” Mehta adds that the likes of Darshan Raval have only made regional songs and performers popular. “Gujaratis know how to invest on the right thing. They realise the importance of spending on talent. Music is an essential part of weddings. That is what sets the mood and keeps the guests entertained. This is why more and more people want local singers to perform at their weddings,” adds Mehta.
Singer Jigardan Gadhavi To this is added: “Gujaratis love music in all its forms. While some enjoy sitting and enjoying the melody, others want the music to make them dance. We have to be prepared to deliver both. The point is to keep the guests entertained.
