GENEVA: The UN AIDS Agency Says That The Executive Director Immediately Leaves The Post After Allegations That He Has Wrongly Dealt With Sexual Violence In The Office.

UNAIDS Said That Michel Sidibe Will Become The Health Minister In His Native Country Mali With Immediate Effect. He Will Be Replaced By His Swedish Delegate, Gunilla Carlsson , On Temporary Basis.

Sidibe Was Already Set To Leave The Post In June, Six Months Before The Scheduled End Of His Term Of Office. He Announced The Early Exit After An Internal Investigation That Was Made Public At The End Of Last Year Was In Guilty Of Defective Leadership With UNAIDS. He Leads The Office Since 2009.

Wednesday's Announcement ' Follows Marina Brostrom's Allegations That Sidibe Has Assaulted Her Allegations Of Assault By Luis, A Former UNAIDS Executive.
