Bloom Hotel will open 10 new properties in Gujarat

New Delhi, November 12 () Bloom Hotel Group plans to open ten new properties in Gujarat with the objective of consolidated assets and the financial objective of Rs 100 million in the next 2-3 years.

The company, which recently launched its first property in the state with 68 rooms, aims at around 1,000 rooms in the next 24 months.

We see fantastic potential across the state with several more hotels already signed, said the chief operating officer of Bloom Hotel Group, Sanjeev Sethi.

The company said it plans to sign at least 10 more hotels in the next 24 months in major state markets, including Surat, Baroda and GIFT city, among others.

When asked what type of investment the company is looking for in Gujarat, a company official said: Bloom will invest jointly with leading hotel developers in the state with a consolidated asset and a financial goal of Rs 100 million in the next 2-3 years

The official gave no further details.

The group points to 1,000 rooms in the state during the period, the official added.

Bloom operates in mid-range and boutique hotels in different locations in India, including Delhi, Gurugram, Goa, Bengaluru, Amritsar, Udaipur and Rishikesh. The goal of operating 100 hotels by 2021 has been set and is also exploring new markets, including Kerala, Pune, Jaipur and Varanasi, among others. RKL ANU
