'Sethum Aayiram Pon' is screened at New Indian Film Festival in India

Filmmaker Anand Ravichandran's Debut Film Sethum Aayiram Pon Will Get His World Premiere On The 19th New York Indian Film Festival Today. The Film Has Also Been Nominated For The" Best Screenplay" Award At The Festival. Sethum Aayiram Pon Has Been Produced By Wishberry Films, Starring Srilekha Rajendran And Nivedhithaa Sathish In Lead Roles.

Written And Directed By Ravichandran, Sethum Aayiram Pon Follows The Story Of Meera, An Upcoming Makeup Artist From The City And Her Grandmother Krishnaveni, Who Lives In A Village. It Explores The Relationship Between Meera And Her Grandmother After Years Of Separation, The Resolution Of Their Conflict And How Meera Finds Its Roots Within Rural Life And Its Traditions.

Speaking On His Experience While Making The Film, Anand Says, “The First Movie Is Always Special For Any Filmmaker. We Shot The Film In A Rapid 17 Days! One Thing The Movie Taught Me Is What You Do, Stay True To Your Heart And Don't Compromise."
