Delhi: Two FIRs registered in the judicial assault of the Saket district

NEW DELHI: Two FIRs have been registered in connection with the alleged assault of a police officer out of here.

According to the police, one of the complaints was filed by the police officer, who was allegedly beaten by lawyers outside the court, while the second FIR was filed on the complaint of a taxi driver who was also assaulted by the lawyer.

A group of defenders allegedly assaulted a policeman outside the district court on Monday while lawyers throughout the city continued their strike against Tis Hazari's confrontation with the police.

On November 2 there was a confrontation between lawyers and police for an alleged parking problem in the Tis Hazari court, in which several police and lawyers were injured.

Police personnel are also organizing a protest outside the Police Headquarters (PHQ) in the national capital over today's incident.
