BCCI U-23 One-dayers: Clinical Hyderabad after the victory of 136 races over Saurashtra
HYDERABAD: Smarting under loss against loss of 147 runs for Himachal Pradesh On Friday, Hyderabad made a clinical display to post a 136-run victory over Saurashtra at BCCI U-23 one-day tournament Monday.
Against Himachal, it was the batters who refused, but on Monday they rose to the occasion with Shreyas Vala (60) and Rahul Buddhi (66) scoring half a century to achieve victory. Bowlers joined the party and Hyderabad pocketed four points of the game.
When asked to hit first, Hyderabad had a modest start with M. Abhirath Reddy (8) falling with the reading score 25. Mohd Junaid Ali and Syed Firasuddin (11) added 24 for the second wicket before the latter ran out.
