Sanjay Raut tweets a photo with Uddhav, says the trip is fun before the goal

MUMBAI: Although the stalemate over the formation of the government continues, the leader of Shiv Sena tweeted on Monday a photo of him with the head of the party, Uddhav Thackeray, along with a message, saying that the trip is pleasant before reaching the goal.

Rajya Sabha member, whose party defends the cause of 'Marathi', posted the message on his Twitter account.

The post says: Lakshya tak pahunchne is pahle safar me mazaa aataa hai.

Raut in the publication also greeted his followers with the motto, even when the party has long insisted on using the greeting: Jai Maharashtra.

Amid a confrontation with ally BJP about the formation of the next government in Maharashtra, Raut plans to meet with the governor on Monday night.

The meeting is scheduled for a day after Raut said his party would soon have its prime minister with the support of 170 MLA.

With the stalemate over the formation of the government that continues in the state, Raut also said Sunday that talks with the BJP will take place only on the issue of the prime minister's office.

The BJP and Shiv Sena, who disputed the state elections on October 21 together, have been angered by sharing the prime minister's position and have not yet begun formal talks on government formation.

In the 288-member state Assembly polls, the BJP won 105 seats, Shiv Sena-56, NCP-54 and Congress-44
