Housefull box office collection 4 Day 9: Akshay Kumar's leading comedy jumps to millions of rupees
Housefull 4 arrived on the screens on Diwali's festive occasion and has registered good numbers in nine days at the box office. the Akshay Kumar Starrer opened mixed reviews on October 25, but is strengthening with the collections. According to the latest Boxofficeindia.com report, Housefull 4 has accumulated a double digit figure on its second Saturday, adding 10 million rupees to its mammoth total. However, the film did not register a massive growth and even in the Gujarat circuit, Housefull 4 did not see a positive trend, since it is still a holiday there.
Directed by Farhan Samji, the film recorded Rs 18 crore in its second weekend, which means that Housefull 4 has had an impressive second weekend that is better than the second week of most of this year's films . The report indicated that in nine days at the box office, Housefull 4 had collected a total of Rs 155.25 crore nett and the Mumbai circuit will reach Rs 60 crore nett in ten days. While the collection in Delhi and UP will be a little more than Rs 30 crore nett, due to the boring business in those markets due to the season before Diwali.
Housefull 4 was involved in a controversy over its box office figures, and a section of the media and commercial analysts began to say that the collection has been exaggerated. Reacting to the same thing that Akshay had said during a media interaction, “There is a studio called Fox Star Studios (involved with the film). It has great credibility. It is a corporate company. It works from Los Angeles. It's not possible. We should use our brains. They make films of millions and millions of dollars and for them, an increase (in collections) of three or five means nothing. So let's talk about meaning. They (Fox Star Studios) are writing it in their own identifier (Twitter) and going everywhere, they have to inform everyone. No one is going to lie about this.
‘Housefull 4’ features an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon , Riteish Deshmukh , Kriti Kharbanda, Bobby Deol and Pooja Hegde. The film is the fourth installment of the successful comedy franchise and faced the box office with 'Made in China' by Rajkummar Rao and 'Saand Ki Aankh' by Taapsee Pannu-Bhumi Pednekar.
