Chunky Panday: I can never play a straitjacket character

When you look at Chunky Panday's filmography of the last decade or a little more, you wonder where he had hidden for so long. The actor, who juggles comic characters with intense villain parties, looks for something unique and something layered to play on the screen. In his words, even funny men who play on the screen are not simple. I can never play a straitjacket character. Each character, including something like Aakhri Pasta, which I have chosen has a different layer, ”he says.

When we met him recently and asked him to choose three of his favorite roles on the screen so far, he hastened to evaluate and say: I loved the Nepalese boy Rana Jang Bahadur in Apna Sapna Money Money . Aakhri Pasta in the Housefull franchise is also a great favorite. And then comes Devraj of Saaho . He is the prince of darkness. The Nepalese boy I played was a mixture of two or three different nationalities. He has really funny hair and accent. Aakhri Pasta is half Italian and half something else and is also quite crooked but fun. And Devraj has just arrived from another planet. It took me something to enter his mental space and play it convincingly. He is a supervillain, so brutal.
