'Ujda Chaman' box office collection Day 2: Sunny Singh's bald drama registers a growth of 40%
Sunny Singh's Ujda Chaman avoided a confrontation with Ayushmann Khurrana 's' Bullet 'and released a week before November 1. The comedy drama talks about how Sunny addresses the issue of premature baldness and also explores her love life. ‘Ujda Chaman’ opened at low occupancy on Friday but recorded decent growth on Saturday.
According to a report on Boxofficeindia.com, Ujda Chaman recorded a positive jump of about 40 percent on his second day at the box office. The figure is lower than the growth generally recorded on Saturdays, but this week has been a generally weak Saturday for previous releases also as Housefull 4 and Saand Ki Aankh. After obtaining Rs 1.75 million rupees on his first day, ‘Ujda Chaman’ added another Rs 2.50 crore to his total. The film is now in a total collection of Rs 4.25 million rupees in two days. The report further stated that ' Ujda Chaman 'It is expected to work better in the Delhi/NCR region and can also be a success in other metropolitan regions.
Apart from ‘Ujda Chaman’, Hollywood film ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’ also hit the screens on Friday and recorded a jump of 20 percent on its second day. The film collected Rs 2.75 crore on Friday and Rs 3.25 crore on Saturday, stated the report.
Last week's launch Saand Ki Aankh also experienced a 55 percent growth in the collection and the film now represents a total of around Rs 15 crore nett.
