Yogi asks the ministers to refrain from commenting on the Ayodhya issue
LUCKNOW: The Prime Minister of Uttar Pradesh has asked his ministers to refrain from making controversial statements before the Supreme Court verdict in the case of a dispute over the title of Ram Janmabhumi-Babri Masjid on November 17.
The prime minister has told us to refrain from making unnecessary comments on the issue, a state minister confirmed.
Adityanath reportedly said that no minister should comment, regardless of who receives the favor. This directive was in line with a broader program than the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has begun.
The Union minister also said in Prayagraj that there should be no celebrations on sensitive issues.
The verdict may favor either side, but there should be no celebrations that bother the other side, he said.
He appealed to Hindus and Muslims to maintain harmony.
the BJP will hold meetings with its members in the coming week to discuss the future course of action following the verdict.
