'Puri obtained Rs 16cr from the chopper scam companies'

The ED alleged that Puri received proceeds from the crime in the amount of 7.04,134.57 and $ 1.50,000 from Interstellar Technologies.

The same money was distributed in layers through several companies in foreign jurisdictions and then brought to India and invested in Hindustan Power Group, whose president is Puri, the agency said, adding that Puri also received proceeds from the crime in the amount of $ 12,40,890. from the companies of Michel, namely Global Services FZE and Globe Oil FZE, through the companies of Rajiv Saxena, which were used for the benefit of Puri.
