MNS President Raj Thackeray meets with NCP chief Sharad Pawar

MUMBAI: Amid the uncertainty about the formation of the government, the president of MNS Raj Thackeray on Saturday he met with the boss Sharad pawar in the latter's residence here.

It was a brief 10-minute meeting, MNS sources said.

The political stalemate in the state continues after the election results of the assembly were announced on October 24, with the victorious allies BJP and Shiv Sena disputes over the post of the prime minister.

The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena won only one seat (rural Kalyan) in the assembly polls.

Each seat will count when it comes to government formation by other parties in case the BJP fails to prove its majority. Raj Thackeray's meeting with Pawar is important in that context, sources said.
