Kartik Aaryan: I never take anyone's advice before signing a movie
Actor Kartik Aaryan, considered one of the emerging stars of Bollywood, says he never takes anyone's advice before signing a movie, and adds that he follows his instinct that has worked so far.
I think that, in regards to my film choices, I am on the right track. Previously, I never took anyone's advice when signing a movie and I am doing the same right now. I've been following my instinct and it worked for me. I don't think about it much because it is an endless journey and you can't do everything at once. I take all this with a positive mood, so I don't feel any regrets, Kartik said, while interacting with the media.
Kartik had claimed some time ago that he was offered 10 million rupees after the success of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety to sign a movie. However, his priority is excellence and not money, he added. Without naming the film, he said he rejected the project because he did not identify with the role.
I rejected that movie because I didn't like the subject. I think if I had been part of it, then it would not have been a great success. I never regret my choices, be they movies I made or those I made. I refused, he said.
Coming from a non-filmy environment, Kartik has released hits like Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Luka Chuppi in a short period of time.
Soon he will be seen in Mudassar Aziz's 'Pati', Patni Aur Woh, Imtiaz Ali's untitled film and Anees Bazmee 's' Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2'.
