RSS asks moderation after Ayodhya verdict
NEW DELHI: The RSS of the saffron source on Friday called for moderation and decided not to hold anything, even if the Supreme Court issues a favorable verdict in the case of a dispute over the land of Ayodhya, which is expected later this month.
The call without celebrations was taken unanimously at the end of a three-day meeting, which was attended by the head of BJP and the Interior Minister Amit Shah , The head of Sangh Mohan Bhagwat, the acting president of BJP and the secretary general (organization) B L Santosh, among others.
Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi, Dattatreya Hosabale and Manmohan Vaidya, VS Kokje and Alok Kumar of VHP and Alok Kumar also participated in the meeting. The RSS call is a relief for the Center, which will have a difficult task at hand to maintain community friendship.
