New Delhi, November 1 () The agrochemical company Insecticides India Ltd (IIL) said Friday that it launched 'Kunoichi', a Japanese miticide that will help chili producers, especially in southern India, to mitigate mite infestation .

The Japanese firm Nissan Chemical Corporation (NCC) has developed and patented the 'Kunoichi' that will be marketed by IIL in India.

IIL has a marketing partnership with Nissan Chemical since 2012.

Kunoichi is a very promising product that we hope will benefit thousands of farmers across the country. It is the most recent and most effective miticide available in the world today, IIL managing director Rajesh Agarwal said in a statement.

It is very effective against all types of mites and can see the impact in six hours. The composition of the product is suitable for crops grown in India, such as chili and premium crops such as apples, he added.
