4 dead in shooting on Halloween night in Northern California

ORINDA, CALIFORNIA: Four people died and several others were injured in a shooting in northern California on Halloween night.

The Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office announced the casualties in a tweet on Friday. He said he is working with the police department in the city of Orinda, where the shooting took place. None of the departments have published more details.

The video of the scene published by KGO-TV showed several patients being loaded in ambulances while others limped away from the scene. The video also showed police talking to people who looked injured.

A dispatcher at the sheriff's office said the public information officer would release more information later this morning, but did not have time.
