GST collections remain moderated at Rs 95.38 crore in October
NEW DELHI: The collection of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) in October decreased to Rs 95,380 million rupees, compared to Rs 1.00,710 crore in the same month of the previous year, according to government data published on Friday.
This is the third consecutive month when GST cleaning It remained below the Rs 1 lakh crore brand, even though October is a holiday.
The revenue collection in September was Rs 91,916 crore.
GST gross revenue collected in October 2019 is Rs 95,380 million of which CGST is Rs 17,582 million, SGST is Rs 23,674 million, IGST is Rs 46,517 million (including 21,446 million Rupiah rupees collected on imports) and Cess is Rs 7,607 crore (including Rs 774 crore collected on imports), the finance ministry said in a statement.
In addition, he said that the total number of GSTR 3B statements (summary of the self-assessed statement) submitted for the month of September (until October 30) was 73.83 lakh.
