Team 'Bala' in Delhi: the message of our film is self-esteem

Team 'Bala', which includes Ayushmann Khurrana , Yami Gautam & Bhumi Pednekar They were in the capital to promote their film. The story revolves around a character called Bullet , who is struggling with premature balding. Ayushmann said, “There needs to be empathy towards balding people. There are two kinds of people – those who have a complex about it, & others who are totally confident in their skin. They have other talents. There are a lot of people who find bald men hot. That’s the message of our film – self-love. That’s the transformation that my character undergoes in the film from a complex character to a confident man.”

Genetically, I am blessed with good hair: Ayushmann Khurrana

When asked if he stays bald in real life, how he will deal with the situation, the actor said: “Genetically, I am blessed with good hair. My dad has good hair toh shayad yeh real life situation mein na aaye Even if that comes, then it depends on how you treat it. For example, Rajinikanth it's a mega star woh real zindagi mein jaise hain vaise sabke saamne aate hain. Filmon ke hour mein unki Look alag hoti hai, unko farak nahi padta. Shayad spiritual plane alag hai unki zindagi ka. I think mein unko follow karte hue, mein jaisa hoon vaisa he aaunga but character ke liye , I will do what i can .

Talking about her co-actor Ayushmann, Yami Gautam, who has earlier shared the screen with him in ' Donor Vicky ', said, “When we did ' Donor Vicky ' together, then he was actor Ayushmann, & now, while doing Bullet , he was National Award-winning actor Ayushmann. I am very happy for him, & he totally deserves it. The consistency that he has shown in his work is amazing.”

Bhumi Pednekar ’s dusky appearance in the film’s trailer was met with a lot of criticism. The actress said that the film does not intend to make fun of dark skin, & instead tries to break the bias or obsession that people have with fair skin in India. “I gained 30kg for ' Dum Laga Ke Haisha ', I have undergone a transformation by' Saand Ki Aankh ' as well. I am an actor & I will transform myself as & when it is required. It is a director’s vision & a producer’s prerogative as to who they want to take in the film. As an actor, I will play whatever comes way. Even if I have to play a man, I will do it,” said Bhumi.
