Vijay heads to Delhi for the second schedule of 'Thalapathy 64'

Actor Vijay who enjoys the success of his latest release 'Bigil' directed by Atlee, flew to Delhi last night to start shooting for the second schedule of his next movie tentatively titled ' Thalapathy 64 '. The film is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj of 'Maanagaram' fame, who is also fresh from the success of his film 'Kaithi' starring Karthi. The team of ' Thalapathy 64 ' begin shooting in the capital city today and the schedule is expected to last for about 40 days.

It is said that a lot of action scene will shot during this schedule and actor Vijay Sethupathi, who plays the villain in the film is expected to join the Delhi schedule after a couple of weeks. Vijay Sethupathi as already shot a major portion of his scenes during the first schedule in Chennai. The shooting for the second schedule with Vijay in Delhi begins today at Delhi SRCC college.

The film also features Malavika Mohanan as a female protagonist, while Antony Varghese, Shantanu Bhagyaraj, Sriman, Srinath and Sanjeev will be seen in important roles. The film is produced by Xavier Britto under the motto XB Film Creators. On the technical side, the film has music by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Sathyan Sooryan and Philomin Raj edition.
