A human story of a Muslim musician!
Indraadip Dasgupta, whose 'Kedara' premieres today, has another film in preparation in addition to 'Agantuk'. Titled Bismillah, it focuses on the tradition of a musical family and how foreign intrusion creates disturbances in it.
It is a human story of a Muslim musician from a shehnai community, who loves to play the flute, but finally takes the shehnai and he becomes very popular as a sacred musician, who plays at weddings and funerals. The saddest part is that you can't find a girlfriend for yourself. The cast includes Kaushik Sen , Bidipta Chakraborty , Surangana Bandyopadhyay Daminee Benny Basu, in addition Riddhi Sen at the head, revealed the composer turned director.
