Now, a creature movie for Arjun Kapoor

Even when Arjun Kapoor is preparing for his next release, the historical drama directed by Ashutosh Gowariker 'Panipat' on December 6, a media source learned that the 34-year-old actor was offered the next Ronnie Screwvala production . The untitled project will be directed by debutant Neha Rakesh, who also wrote the script.

According to a source close to the development, it is a creature film that revolves around crocodiles and will be filmed entirely in Thailand.

“Arjun is in talks with the manufacturers. The concept has seemed interesting. In addition to him, there are two most important characters in history for whom Daggubati Frog & Rakul Preet Singh have been approached. The first stage of recce is already underway, & the film is expected to roll in the first half of 2020. A lot of training will be involved before the actors start shooting for the VFX-heavy film,” the source informed.

Ronnie, who recently announced the sports drama directed by Akarsh Khurana, 'Rashmi Rocket', featuring Taapsee Pannu As a Kutchi athlete, he has been experimenting with different genres, from 'Uri: The Surgical Strike', winner of the National Prize, to the recently released real-life drama, 'The Sky Is Pink'. The filmmaker is also meeting with Vicky Kaushal for Meghna Gulzar Sam Manekshaw biopic, & there’s also Ashwatthama, an action-based superhero film set in modern times which will be directed by Uri debutant Aditya Dhar.
