Karnataka: Gulbarga University cancels permission for the Kanhaiya Kumar program

HUBBALLI: The has canceled permission for a conference program that would be attended by former JNU student union leader.

Upon requesting adequate security from the university campus to the city police commissioner, the acting interim chancellor of the university said that the conference program organized in was canceled by oral order of the government.

The letter says: The order of the union meeting was revoked, which allowed the formation of the UNWR leader that allowed to give a conference on campus and, following the oral instructions of the government, Kanhaiya Kumar's entry to the campus was also restricted. Therefore, the police must provide adequate security measures for the campus.

In praising the University's decision not to allow Kanhaiya Kumar to participate in the conference program, visionary Siddalinga Swamiji described the decision as a victory for Hindus and warned that they would not allow the university to become another UN.

Security was reinforced in and around Gulbarga University and the organizers have changed the location of the event to Visveshwarayya Bhavan.
