Cyclone Fani: Adani Group donates Rs 25 crore to Odisha Chief Relief Relief Fund

BHUBANESWAR: The Adani Group Has Donated Rs 25 Crore To The Prime Minister's Aid Fund, To Help The People Affected By The Extremely Heavy Cyconian Storm Fani That Struck The State On May 3 And Caused Destruction In More Than Five Coastal Districts

We Want To Reassure The People Of Odisha That The Adani Group Will Work Shoulder To Shoulder To Rebuild This Beautiful State, ”said An Official Statement Quoting Karan Adani.

The Dhamra Port Company Limited (DPCL), A 100% Subsidiary Of Adani Ports And SEZ, Is Located Between Haldia And Paradeep. The DPCL Has Also Insured All Support In The Event Of An Eventuality. The DPCL Also Coordinates With Government Officials For The Distribution Of Food, Water And Medical Supplies.

In The Same Way, The ICICI Bank Also Donated Rs 10 Crore To The CMRF To Speed Up Fani Relief And Restoration Work. Similarly, The Bank Of India Has Given Rs 25 Lakh To The CMRF.

In The Meantime, The Union's Ministry Of Economic Affairs Has Approved The Fact That All Contributions To The Odisha Disaster Relief Authority (OSDMA) Will Be Regarded By The Offices As An Activity Of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
