Muchova finds his rhythm in Seoul to claim the first title

Czech Republic Karolina Muchova fourth seed thrashed Magda Linette 6-1, 6-1 in the Korean Open final on Sunday to claim his first WTA title.

The world number 45, Muchova, who is enjoying the best season of his career and also reached the final in Prague, won 90% of the points in his first service and did not face a break point on the way to the victory.

The 23-year-old, who surprised his countryman. Karolina Pliskova in his career to the quarterfinals of Wimbledon , took full advantage of an error-prone performance by Linette, who produced seven double fouls in the 68-minute contest.

It was a sweet revenge for Muchova, after Linette of Poland had won the couple's only previous meeting in the quarterfinals of the Bronx last month to claim their first WTA title.
