JAMSHEDPUR: Approximately one week after police withdrew the murder charges against the defendants in him, his wife threatened to commit suicide on Monday if the Seraikela Kharsawan district administration denied him justice.
The district police recently withdrew the murder charge from their charge sheet filed in connection with Ansari's death in the local court.
Dissatisfied with the withdrawal of the murder charge, Parveen along with Uncle Tabrez approached the deputy commissioner and the police superintendent on Monday to demand copies of the autopsy, viscera and findings of the special investigation team (SIT) for a legal examination in depth by experts.

Parveen then said he planned to sit on an indefinite fast outside the district's collection office from Monday onwards, but he postponed the plan due to poor health.

Tabrez, a resident of Kharsawan, was beaten by the Mafia in Seraikela on suspicion of stealing a motorcycle on June 18 this year. He died in the hospital four days after the beating.
The SIT headed by SDO, Seraikela, Basharat Qayoom sustained two negligent police officers in the performance of their responsibilities because Tabrez could not be rescued.
