India And Bangladesh Are Planning To Make A Film Together About Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Along With A Documentary About Bangladesh Liberation War .

The Final Decision To Produce A Mujibur Rahman Film Together And The 1971 War Documentary Is The Result Of An Improved Bilateral And Diplomatic Relationship Between The Two Neighboring Countries Recently.

This Initiative Can Further Strengthen Through The Exchange Of Audio-visual Programs And Making Indo-Bangladesh Films And Documentaries.

An official delegation from Bangladesh is expected to attend a meeting with its counterpart later this month for the joint production of films And other key developments like exchange of programs between state-owned radio And television units of India And Bangladesh .

As Part Of The Plan, The Authorities Are Trying To Pull Rope In The Famous Director And Screenwriter Shyam Benegal To Make The Feature Film On Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

We Hear Benegal Might Join The First Round Of The Delegation Level Next Week. Apart From The Mujibur Rahman Film, Talks Are On An Indo-Bangladesh Documentary On The Liberation Of Bangladesh As Well.

Along With Shyam Benegal, According To Sources Close To Development, Officials From Ministry Of Information And Broadcasting, NFDC, Prasar Bharati, Doordarshan And All India Radio Will Attend The Meeting With The Bangladesh Delegates.
