“These are characteristic of the farming culture of Kasargod. The ‘kunne’, ‘kuthiru’ and ‘kooval’ refer to the farming land and water sources, ”says Vinod Ambalathara, adding that these spaces are being lost in the district now. The artists aim to give viewers a glimpse into past practices through their art and also work as a documentation.
