Ajay Devgn remembers his late father Veeru Devgan on Teacher's Day

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn He went to his social networks today to pay his respects to his late father and filmmaker Veeru Devgn on the occasion of Teacher's Day. The veteran director of action passed away in May of this year after suffering a cardiac arrest.

When sharing a photo of his childhood time with his father, Ajay wrote: My father, my guru. He gave me invaluable life lessons 🙏 #HappyTeachersDay.



Veeru Devgn has helmed the 1999 film 'Hindustan Ki Kasam' starring his son Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan , Manisha Koirala and Sushmita Sen. The accomplished action director has choreographed fight scenes for more than 80 Hindi movies. Some of his known works include 'Dilwale' (1994), 'Himmatwala' (1983), 'Shahenshaah' (1988) among others.

On the professional front, Ajay Devgn will be next seen in the upcoming period drama 'Tanaji: The Unsung Warrior', starring opposite Saif Ali Khan and his wife Kajol . The actor also has 'Bhuj: the pride of India'. Ajay has also been cornered from the next great S.S. Rajamouli titled 'RRR'.
