Bad Boys For Life trailer: Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are back for one last trip

'Bad guys' Will Smith & Martin Lawrence are back in town for another round of action. The first trailer for 'Bad Boys for Life' brings back the iconic duo of Miami police detectives played by Smith & Lawrence, who are here to take the audience on a wild ride!

The trailer has all the elements -- thrill, drama, & humour -- to keep the moviegoers glued to the screens.

The third instalment of the 'Bad guys' franchise features Smith & Lawrence reprising their iconic roles as Detective Lieutenant Michael Lowrey & Detective Lieutenant Marcus Burnett, respectively.

Going by the trailer, the years haven't changed the dynamics & banter between the two cops, however, it has brought up the discussion about retirement from their crime-riddled careers. Before throwing in the towel, they make a pact of sorts to team up for “one last time.”

The trailer promises one hell of a ride filled with the humour & action the Miami cops are known for. The recently released trailer serves as a perfect tease as it doesn't let out a lot about the upcoming film, but, rest assured, there will be a whole lot more of car chases, explosions, & drama.

The long-awaited third installment of the action-packed franchise also stars the newcomers of the series Vanessa Hudgens , Charles Melton, & Alexander Ludwig as a group of the specialised police unit that collides with the 'Bad guys' after a threat hits Miami.

The clip even gives a nod to the bad boys' theme song, with Hudgens, Ludwig, & Melton's hilariously rapping the lyrics.

The cast also includes DJ Khaled, Jacob Scipio, & Paola Nunez. Joe Pantoliano He will return as Captain Howard.

The film had been in the works for a while now, with multiple directors departing & release dates being changed, before Adil El Arbi & Billal Fallah came on board to direct the action-comedy. Chris Bremmer penned the script, with earlier drafts from Peter Craig & Joe Carnahan.

Michael Bay directed the first two 'Bad guys' films in the franchise, which released in 1995 & 2003.

'Bad Boys For Life' hits theaters on January 17, 2020.
