Have you placed your Ganpati the right way?
As the festival of joy has spread the positivity, Ganesh's idols are seen everywhere making the city more colorful. Preparations for Mr. Ganesha begin months before and continue until the idol comes home. As we walk through the streets of the city, there are many attached pandales where a large number of Ganpati idols in variety of color, design and size are sitting and waiting for us to take them home. But while heading to put the idol and decoration material in place, did you look for a certain checklist to follow?
Right trunk and left trunk
It is believed that Ganesha's trunk makes a lot of difference. It is said that the trunk on the left side is good for the prosperity of the house and happiness. If the trunk is on the right side, then the rituals for the idol must be followed religiously and cannot be lost. Then, mainly, the idols on the right side are found in temples where the rules of worshiping the Lord are strictly followed. To identify the trunk, see the initial part of the trunk and not the end of the trunk. If the trunk from above turns to the left, then it is Ganesha's left trunk. There are also straight logs, which are not preferred to keep at home.
If you take the idol home, then it is preferable to be a seated idol. Because that denotes that the Lord will be sitting at home for a while. But there are large idols for the building and the surrounding area, those are standing and can be purchased for those purposes. So make sure you make your idol feel at home for prosperity. If you already have Ganpati at home, who is standing, you can place a smaller Ganesha idol next to the murti.
Placement of Ganesha at home
First of all, it is necessary to keep the positive and pure environment at home. As the deity enters, it is always better to place it in a pooja room or in the northeast corner of your house. If placed correctly, the idol will surely give you the fruits and results of worshiping it by removing obstacles in your work and your life. Most people create spaces for the idol according to them, but to obtain the positivity to house it is necessary to place it in the right direction.
Ganesha Murti's details
As Ganesha is very fond of her favorite sweet modak, it is always good to have a modak besides him carved along with murti. There are few idols where modak is placed besides him and sometimes in his hand. If the modak is near its trunk, it is said to be prosperous. Along with modak, the vehicle of the god that is mushak (mouse) should also be there in the murti. If your idol lacks details, there are individual modak and mushak made of clay that you can take home.
Decorations to place idols
As this joyful party brings enthusiasm to all of us, there are many decorations and arrangements for Mr. Ganesha. Then, when decorating the area around the place where the idol will be placed, make it brighter using more colorful lights. As you are opting for ecological Ganesha, why not make the decorations too friendly for nature? Reduce the use of plastic and thermal sheets for decoration and replace it with cardboard and fresh flowers that will not harm nature. Keep the decoration minimal so that the idol is focused and not the decoration around.
Bollywood celebrity checklist for Ganesh murti
Many Bollywood celebrities take time out from their schedule to celebrate this festival with lots of enthusiasm. When Tusshar Kapoor He goes to look for murtis of Lord Ganesha, he says, An important part of getting the Ganesh idol is that it must be ecological, we always have an idol that respects the environment. We have not been increasing the idol's size since that also creates more stress for the environment. He added: After buying the idol, the placement of El murti is also something necessary for us. When placing it in the house, it should also be convenient for visitors. We make sure that the placement area in the house is auspicious.
