PKL: Telugu Titans outperform Tamil Thalaivas 35-30

BENGALURU Titans Telugu overcome Tamil Thalaivas 35-30 to secure your Pro Kabaddi League meeting in the Sree Kanteerava Stadium Monday.

Siddharth Desai collected nine raid points and Vishal Bhardwaj continued his impressive defense classification with six tack points for the Titans when they saw an energetic fight for the Thalaivas led by the young Ajith Kumar who finished with a Super 10 (13 raid points ) in your name.

The Thalaivas, behind a demoralizing defeat against archrivals Bengaluru Bulls On Sunday, the match began with a changed lineup when young Ajith Kumar and Anand found a place in the top seven. But it was Rahul Chaudhari, chasing a milestone of 900 Pro Kabaddi points, which began the raids for the Thalaivas, seeking to double the Hyderabad team (the Thalaivars had won the previous match between the teams).

But it was the Titans who started the game brilliantly, with Desai and his brother Suraj Desai securing important raid points. In fact, both defense teams struggled to gain absolute dominance of the game while the attackers collected easy points in the initial stages.

Ajith Kumar was the star of Thalaivas, collecting seven points of attack in a very disputed first half that Manjeet Chhillar also made uncharacteristic mistakes in the defense of Chennai's team. However, Chaudhari assured him a milestone of 900 points in the last raid of the first half when the teams entered the break with the Titans leading Thalaivas 16-12.

The Thalaivas started the second half in a positive way, riding on the brightness of Ajith Kumar's attack, but the error-prone defense continued to filter out unnecessary points to make it difficult for Chennai's team to close the gap. Armaan took over some of the Titans' raid tasks, as they chose to rest with Brother Desai in the middle of the second half, which was a battle between two sides in southern India.

Vishal Bhardwaj ran to a maximum of 5 but even the Titans defense was losing points, with substitute Shabeer Bapu picking up points quickly.

Despite the great experience in their ranks, the Thalaivas looked like a disjointed team, a case of too many cooks spoiling the broth, as the Titans forced an All-Out with less than 4 minutes remaining in the game to build a lead nine points

Ajith Kumar reached his Super 10 in the final minutes and said that the Thalaivas lost with a margin of less than seven points, but coach E Bhaskaran will be left with many things to ask, since his team suffered a fifth consecutive loss.
