Quintana joins the French team Arkea-Samsic in a three-year contract

The two-time grand tour champion Nairo Quintana joins Arkea-Samsic in a three-year agreement starting in 2020, the French team said Monday.

The 29-year-old Colombian, who won the Italy spin in 2014 and the Return in 2016, he also finished second in the Tour de France twice.

Joins spanish Movistar , with whom he is competing at the Return , where he is wearing the overall leader's red jersey.

Also joining Arkea-Samsic, whose ambition is to win a grand tour within three years, is Quintana's brother Dayer.

The Colombian winner Anacona and the Italian Diego Rosa of the Ineos team also join.
