Lu0026T Construction is awarded an important EPC contract for Navi Mumbai International Airport
PUNE: GVK's downgrade subsidiary, Navi Mumbai International Airport Private Limited (NMIAPL) has awarded the prestigious engineering, acquisition and construction contract for Greenfield Navi Mumbai Airport to the transport infrastructure and buildings and factories of Lu0026T Construction.
The key development spectrum includes cutting and filling works, terminal works that include departure and arrival boarding areas, aerodrome development works (a 3,700 m long southern runway, platform systems, taxiways, street lighting). aerodrome terrain and other facilities), land facilities (roads, multi-level cars). parking), public services and support facilities.
The Passenger Terminal Building that has been designed with complex shapes by the famous and award-winning Zaha Hadid Architects is being developed to initially handle a capacity of 10 MPA (millions of passengers per year). The project will be further improved to handle 20 MPA.
