* Hello and welcome to the live coverage of Day 3 of the second Test between India and the West Indies in Jamaica.
Day 2 report
The incomparable Jasprit Bumrah became only the third Indian to pick a Test hat-trick after Hanuma Vihari Ton's maiden, driving visitors to a command position in the second game against the West Indies.
In a lethal opening spell on Saturday, Bumrah (6/16) shook the West Indies by picking up the first five wickets, three of which came in successive balls in the ninth.
As a result, the hosts, with a 0-1 record in the two-game series, staggered to 87 for seven on stumps on the second day.
Bumrah ventured into the formation of the West Indies on the seventh time by inducing an advantage from John Campbell, which Rishabh Pant happily accepted.
Bumrah was at her best while collecting the land of Darren Bravo, Shamarh Brooks and Roston Chase to register her name in the log books.
First he had Bravo caught by KL Rahul in the second slide and then he had Brooks and Chase LBW in the next two balls.
Part of the credit for Bumrah's hat-trick must also go to skipper virat Kohli, who insisted on a review after Chase was given not out by on-field umpire Paul Reiffel.
Bumrah, therefore, joined Harbhajan Singh and Irfan Pathan to register a hat-trick in Test cricket for India.
Shimron Hetmyer (34) was cleared by Mohammed Shami before Bumrah returned to dismiss West Indies patron Jason Holder.
The West Indies followed India for 329 races with three full days of play remaining.
Previously, Vihari scored the best 111 of his career with 225 balls with the help of 16 limits.
