The BMM department of Jai Hind College announces its annual Detour festival 2019

The department of Bachelor of Mass Media (BMM) of Mumbai Jai Hind College He has marked his annual cultural festival, entitled 'Detour 2019'.

The launch took place on August 20, in an elegant place in Kamala Mills. Quotas from more than 40 universities met with great enthusiasm and energy. With the theme 'Lifelines of Mumbai', the launch began with contingents playing a fun game called 'Andhadhun-Rasta Dhundh', which in turn would give them a contingent name like Raapchik Rickshawala , Roshan Spot Dada, Kadak Chaiwala, Shahi Paanwala and many more based on the lifelines that drive Mumbai.

After this, entertaining contingent videos were played. Simultaneously, other contingent members who were asked to dress as various characters from films such as circuit, kaancha, shantipriya, etc. They were questioned and danced and had fun. This was followed by the projection of the thematic video and the introduction to the nucleus and the subpoint for this great festival. The Head of Department, Dr. S Varalakshmi, motivated the contingents with her inspiring words.

The highlight of the launch was the auction in which the contingents bid for several emblematic events such as dance, drama, kawali, band, fashion show with enthusiasm.

In the days of the festival, if the contingents win the main event for which they had offered, their points double, which takes them one step closer to winning Detour 2019.

Over the years, 'Detour' has had judges like Kanika Dhillon Arbaz Khan Vicky Kaushal , Luke Kenny, Neel Nitin Mukesh, Sapan Verma and many more.

The event concluded successfully with people dancing to the rhythm of the music and enjoying the delicious food.
