Rwitobroto: Junior Legend is not just a detective thriller
While Shantilal is the new detective in the city with the release of Shantilal O Projapoti Rohoshyo from Pratim D Gupta, Bengali cinema seems to be thriving on detectives and thrillers these days. Detective stories have a pull on Bengal.
Now, Mainak Bhaumik He will introduce another teenage detective in his next Junior Legend. The movie sees Rwitobroto Mukherjee meet with Mainak as the titular character after creating many rumors last year with Generation Aami.
“The story is not just about a detective, it also explores the crisis of Bikram (my character) in life and how it overcomes all the challenges that a 16-year-old is going through. He is quite sharp and witty, good at studies, likes to read crime thrillers, likes a girl in his class and uses his intelligence to solve a crime. He is a teenager but at the same time a loner, since he lost his parents at an early age. He stays with his uncle, who is a frontline policeman. His uncle encourages him to accompany him to work to distract his mind. And there, Bikram solves a case that worried the city police. Don't think you have a detective mind. Rather, the film delves into a teenage boy and his problems; the crime is only a part of him, explains Rwitobroto, who recently finished filming Junior Legend.
Next to the talented young actor, Anusha Viswanathan Play the female protagonist in this detective thriller.
