Constant support is required as aid camps can last for months: Vinay Forrt
Actor Vinay Forrt It has been using all its contacts to actively coordinate the collection of relief material from the south and the center of Kerala, and ensure that it reaches the districts affected by floods in the north.
“The people I know have been calling me and asking if they could help. I connect them with volunteers at various collection points, including CUSAT, ”says Vinay. “There is also a team based in Fort Kochi that works for flood relief and I also join their group. In addition, the group of director Rajeev Ravi in Kadavanthara is also a collection point and they have been sending aid materials in trucks to Nilambur and Wayanad every day, he explains.
However, the actor notes that the Malayalis are not as excited about their support as last year. Do we get used to the natural disaster or is it because the central and southern part of Kerala are not affected like last year? Vinay asks. It also urges people to stay together to overcome the disaster. “Many have lost their homes this time compared to last year. Then, aid camps can last for months and need food and other materials to survive. We have to support our brothers and sisters.
