India vs Antilles: Virat Kohli 19 flees from breaking Javed Miandad's 26-year record

PORT OF SPAIN: Indian Captain virat Kohli is only 19 escapes from overtaking Pakistan Javed Miandad as the top scorer against the West Indies in ODI cricket.

Miandad played his last ODI against the Windies in 1993, so Kohli will break a 26-year record if he manages to hit 19 races in the next second ODI in Port of Spain .

Miandad took 64 tickets to score 1930 races against the West Indies and if Kohli manages to beat him in the second ODI, he will only have taken 34 tickets to do so.

The captain of India did not hit the first ODI of the series, since the West Indies had hit first and only 13 overs could be thrown before the rain in Providence ensured that the match faded.

In the T20I series that preceded the ODI, Kohli was India's top scorer with 106 runs under his belt. He was the second best scorer of the series overall behind Kieron Pollard who scored 115 runs. India won the series 3-0.
