Government approves changes to the POCSO Law, which includes the death penalty for sexual crimes against children

NEW DELHI: On Wednesday, the Union cabinet approved amendments in the case of crimes against children, and included the death penalty for sexual assault on minors, authorities said.

Amendments to the Child Sexual Offenses Protection Act (POCSO) also establish fines and imprisonment to curb.
