Mindtree shares fall when executives give up

BENGALURU: On the first trading day after The superior leaders of Mindtree and the founders announced their resignation, the shares of the company sank 13% in the NSE to Rs 773 each. This is perhaps the sharpest decline in the stock in the last year, and it seems to reflect investors' anxiety about the departure of the founders and how the company would perform in the hands of Lu0026T.

Participation remained at the level of Rs 980-1,000 from mid-March, given that Lu0026T had announced an open offer at Rs 980 each. On Friday, Chief Executive Krishnakumar Natarajan, VC N S Parthasarathy and CEO Rostow Ravanan announced resignations from the board of directors and as employees.
