Leicester City signs Tielemans in permanent agreement

The Foxes will pay Monaco a club record of £ 40 million ($ 55 million) to secure the 22-year-old with a four-year contract.

I think we have the talent in our team to achieve something special and for any player, it is something exciting to be a part, said Tielemans.

Leicester dismissed interest from a number of others Premier League clubs to ensure Tielemans, who scored three goals and gave four assists in 14 appearances during his loan period in the second half of last season.

It's an incredibly exciting time for this soccer club and to be able to bring players of Youri's quality here is an indication of the hunger for success that we have, said the Leicester manager. Brendan Rodgers .
