The Ministers of the Congress in Karnataka resign voluntarily to allow the reorganization of the cabinet

BENGALURU: In a last-ditch effort to save the reserve, the 13-month-old JD (S) government, affected by the resignations of more than a dozen legislators, Congress said on Monday that its ministers have voluntarily resigned to allow the reorganization of the cabinet and give way to the disgusted MLAs.

This decision was taken at a breakfast of the ministers of Congress at the residence of Deputy Prime Minister G Parameshwara, attended by the leader of the CLP and the general secretary of the AICC, KC Venugopal, among others.

The Chief Minister, HD Kumaraswamy, held talks with the leaders of the Congress after the meeting.

For the greatest interest of the party, yesterday and today we had detailed discussions with leaders and ministers. Today in the morning we meet with the ministers. In the prevailing condition, the ministers themselves voluntarily resigned from the minister with respect to the ministers of Congress. Venugopal said after the meeting.

Speaking to the reporters, he said: They have let the Congress party take the necessary decision to reorganize the cabinet, to solve the problems in the current scenario. Sincerely, I thank the ministers.

CLP leader Siddaramaiah also said that all the ministers of Congress have voluntarily resigned and given the party full freedom to reorganize the ministry.
