Stop playing PUBG, a 17 year old boy ends his life in Jind
JIND: A 17-year-old boy committed suicide by allegedly hanging himself after his mother scolded him for playing on the PlayerUnknown battlefields and took away his mobile phone.
The boy had dropped out of school after completing Class X about a year ago and spent most of his time playing PUBG, a hugely popular online multiplayer.
His father, a policeman, said that he often scolded his son for dropping out of school and spending his time playing PUBG. I was on duty on Saturday night when my wife found him playing PUBG in his room and snatched his cell phone. He found him hanging in the room the next morning, said the father.
When contacted, police officers said they had not received any formal complaints but were investigating the matter.
