LEDs to illuminate the lives of citizens
NEW DELHI: The ease of life has been one of the priorities of the Modi government. The FM listed steps taken by the government that included the promotion of digital payments and Prime Minister Shram Yogi Maandhan, according to which 3,000 rupees per month is paid as a pension to workers in the unorganized sector when they reach 60 years of age.
Highlighting the momentum in a cleaner environment and sustainable energy, the FM said the government will expand the LED bulbs program. She said that the replacement of incandescent light bulbs and compact fluorescent lamps has generated a cost savings of 18,341 crore annually.
