The great Dutchman Robben announces his retirement from football
THE HAGUE: Dutch end Arjen Robben has announced that he is finishing his playing career at the age of 35 after to period of 10 years with German giants Bayern Munich .
It is without doubt the most difficult decision I have had to make in my career, my heart says yes, my body says no, said Robben to Telegraaf.
His contract with Bayern had expired on June 30.
Robben played 96 international matches for the Netherlands, scoring 37 goals, starring the team that made it to the 2010 World Cup final and finished third four years later.
